About Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh
Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh is a senior officer of the Indian Navy. In 2022, he served as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations), the appointment relevant to this Red Fort engagement. He later became Vice Chief of the Naval Staff in April 2023. His naval career has included command, training, operations and strategic-policy responsibilities. The official government record is used to distinguish his office at the time of the photograph from later appointments.
