These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NitishJindal.com, including its pages, publications, forms, public-interest reporting service, market-information features and other Website resources.

Nitish Jindal is the operator of the Website and is referred to in these Terms as the “Operator”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Disclaimer. If you do not agree, you should not use the Website or submit information through it.

1. PERMITTED USE

You may access and use the Website for lawful personal, informational, educational, research, journalistic and other legitimate purposes consistent with these Terms.

You remain responsible for your own use of the Website and for complying with applicable law.

• you will not knowingly provide fabricated evidence or malicious allegations;
• you will not submit malware, passwords, banking credentials, unlawfully obtained intimate material, child sexual-abuse material, classified or legally restricted information, or material that creates an avoidable risk to another person;
• you will not impersonate another person; and
• you will not misuse the reporting service for harassment, retaliation, intimidation, unlawful surveillance or another unlawful purpose.

A good-faith reporter is not expected to prove every allegation before making a report. You should distinguish, so far as reasonably possible, between what you personally know, what you observed, what another person told you and what you infer or suspect.

File uploads and attachments are currently disabled and must not be attempted through the form, API or other technical means.

8. HANDLING OF SUBMITTED INFORMATION

You retain any rights you lawfully hold in material you submit.

You grant the Operator a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free licence to receive, store, internally reproduce, review and assess the submission and, where reasonably necessary and lawful, disclose relevant information for verification, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance or possible referral to an appropriate authority or organisation.

• a statutory complaint mechanism;
• a police or law-enforcement report;
• a court filing;

• a secure-drop or classified-information service;
• a formally protected whistleblower channel; or
• a guarantee of confidential or anonymous communication.

Submission does not create legal privilege, statutory whistleblower protection, immunity, witness protection or a journalist-source relationship.

The Operator does not undertake to:

• investigate a submission;
• preserve evidence indefinitely;
• contact an authority;
• establish legal privilege;
• protect statutory whistleblower status;
• provide witness protection;
• guarantee anonymity or confidentiality;
• refer a report;
• respond within a particular period; or
• produce a particular outcome.

Anyone facing immediate danger should contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement authority directly.

If disclosure could create a serious safety or retaliation risk, use an appropriate official or specialist protected-reporting channel.
