About Shri Suresh Prabhu
Shri Suresh Prabhu is a former Union Cabinet Minister, parliamentarian and chartered accountant with long experience in economic and infrastructure policy. Across successive governments, he held portfolios including Railways, Commerce and Industry, Civil Aviation, Power, Environment and Forests, and Chemicals and Fertilizers. He also served as India’s Sherpa for the G20 and G7. His public work has frequently addressed transport reform, trade, sustainability, energy and institutional modernisation. Beyond government, he has remained active in education, policy dialogue and cooperative development.
